  1. Bahai Temple
Being the only temple in Africa with the Bahai faith, the temple was finished in 1961 with Persian carpets, tinted windows that enable the rays of the sun to penetrate through and shiny Italian tiles on the inside and is situated at the top of Kikaya hill Kampala with a number of followers worldwide. It is in a calm peaceful place with a compound having green vegetation including flowers, trees and birds.
  1. Kasubi Royal Tombs
Kasubi Royal Tombs are burial grounds for all the royal family especially the Kabakas (Kings) in Buganda. These were built in 1882 and officially made burial grounds in 1884 along Kasubi Hill which once had  a palace to the kabakas of Buganda. They include the Muzibu  Azaala Mpanga which is the main building with  four royal tombs lying within and it is enclosed with in a vault. It is a significant habitual, political and social place for the Baganda People and was constructed using ordinary materials like wood, reeds, wattle, thatch.
  1. Kabaka’s palace Bulange Mengo
Comprising of two vast palaces,”the Kabaka’s residence and the Buganda Parliament” adjoined by a linear road that was made purposely for the Kabaka to travel on since the Baganda people believe the Kabaka should not take on corners. The palace is located along Lubiri Ring Road Mengo Kampala and is a fully furnished tidy extravagant infrastructure due to the fact that it was built like a colonial residence.
  1. Kabaka’s lake
This is a prolonged man-made lake in Uganda and Africa and as founded by Kabaka Mwanga II in 1886. He wanted to establish a passage that would connect to his palace in Lubiri as well as Munyonyo. It require a few minutes’ drive from Kampala in Rubaga and faces St Lawrence University. With fresh waters, green area that is astonishing and birds flying in the air above the water.
  1. Namugongo Martyr’s Shrine
Namugongo Martyr’s Shrine is located in Namugongo a suburb located a few kilometers off the major City of Kampala. About Thirty Catholics and protestants were burnt to death on 3rd June 1886 on orders given by kabaka Mwanga II due to their refusal to disclaim their belief. A church was established in Namugongo close to this place so as to remember these great people of faith. Crusades are carried out here annually in their rememberance.
  1. Nagalabi (Buddo Coronation Site)
Being a place where the Kabakas/Kings are coroneted before they are officially declared as kings Nagalabi Buddo Coronation site is situated  in the south of Kampala along Buddo hill in Busiro County Wakiso District away from the Kampala Masaka main road and only takes one fourteen Kilometers to get to this venue. It is believed to be the place that gave birth to the Buganda Kingdom hence no one can be called a king unless he is crowned/coroneted at this site and gives an opportunity to guests to visit other sacred sites and the hierarchy of Kings.
  1. Rubaga & Namirembe Cathederals
Situated along Rubaga Hill which was once a palace of Kabaka Mutesa I who was later on succeeded by his son Kabaka Mwanga who pledged it to Bishop Hirth in 1889,St Mary’s Catholic Cathederal (Rubaga Cathederal) was established in 1925 facing the vast and crowded Kampala. It takes one only five kilometers to get to this venue from the city center and the infrastructure was remodeled to host the pope when he visited Uganda. It also cases the remains of the first African Arch Bishop and Catholic Bishop of Kampala Diocese. Namirembe Cathederal was established in 1903  by protestant missionaries along Namirembe Hill though was restored in 1919 due to the fact that it had been hit by lightening and this can accommodate a large crowd of three thousand people.
  1. Ndere Centre
Situated in the midst of beautiful green gardens with a massive of Uganda’s cultural heritage, Ndere Cultural centre is located in the city centre of Kampala with a craft shop with a café and an external platform where musicians, dancers of the Ndere Troupe perform including other musicians from other areas of Uganda.
  1. Katareke Prison Ditch
Located along Masaka road past Buddo, reaching the prison takes one only a thirty minutes drive from the city to this venue. katereke Prison was dug by Kabaka Kalema who was power thirst around the 19th century with a ditch where he jailed all of his sisters and brothers in 1888 with kabaka Mwanga being exceptional since by this time he was exiled after being over thrown. He proceeded further onto murdering them due to fear of being over thrown some day by one of them. Today, this place is a quiet and sheltered site though still brings back the sad memories of how the Buganda Kingdom was so unstable and full of disputes.
  1. The Uganda Museum
Want to have memories of Uganda’s past experiences like extravagant master pieces, ordinary musical instruments, natural historical, archeological exhibitions come visit the Uganda National Museum was established in 1908 and is situated in Kampala. Within the museum you will find the Uganda Society’s library which was begun by a collection of scholars around the 1930’s with about three thousand periodicals, volumes, photos and maps all focusing on the history, sociology, culture, science and movement from one place to another around Africa.
